Sample a new North Park brewery's first batch of beers this 30th on 30th!
While the Thorn Street Brewery is not officially open as a tasting room yet, this Friday they are celebrating the advent of the upcoming SoNo Park Holiday Fest and CHiLiPaLooZa by offering tastings of their first run of stout, pale ale and kolsch.
Friday, November 30th from 6-8: Stop by the Pre-Sale Pottery Party at the San Diego Ceramic Connection at 3216 Thorn Street to get the first pick of chili bowls going on sale at this Sunday's SoNo Park Fest and Chili Cookoff.
Then walk one block to 3176 Thorn Street, try the new TSB brews and have a taco from Delicioso Food Truck parked at the brewery or a deli sandwich from Ripe North Park. Children are allowed in the tasting room. Delicioso
is donating 20% of all sales between 6-9 and SDCC is donating $10 for each chili bowl sold to McKinley Elementary Schoolto support the arts, music and Spanish programs.This opening reception pre-sale is the first opportunity to get your hands on this year's chili bowls, shooters and a whole a lot more beautiful pottery hand made by artists who study with North Park resident, Kouta Shimazaki at SDCC. Support local artists, small businesses and our local elementary school while having a good time with your neighbors.
